tERMINOLOGY

Custom artwork - where you the client, requests specific artwork to be created, e.g. favourite characters

Personalised artwork - artwork that is created with personal elements to you, e.g. a portrait, a pre-designed artwork with your name

Lead time - This the time it takes for commissions and personalised artwork to be created and finalised

Despatch time - This is the time it takes for us to post your artwork when it is finished (lead time). Please note this is not the time taken for the postal services to deliver

Using our website

By being on our website you agree to:

  • Respecting our artwork and not copying it for your own gain
  • Crediting our artwork if you choose to share it on social media using our correct website address www.doodledork.co.uk
  • Not cause harm to our website or misuse any forms or email address that allow you to communicate with us
  • If purchasing our artwork to use it as per the relevant product description which combines as a contract

Your Privacy

We gather data from you by:

  • Google analytics which tracks users on our site
  • By purchasing from us, you supply your personal information such as email address, postal address
  • By emailing or submitting a form, we receive the information you submit
  • By creating a customer account

What do we do with your information?:

  • Information is only used to either understand how our website is working and what we can do to improve our website
  • Insights into where our customers are from, what pages are being visited the most, how you found us etc
  • To complete an order
  • To answer a query
  • Your information is never shared with third party businesses and we'll only communicate with you after you place an order if we need to discuss your order or to confirm the status of your order
  • Information is held within create.net our website provider and via our accounting files which are kept on a secure cloud/password protected laptop.

Please note, we do not hold information about your card details

How To order, Payment and confirmation

  • Our artwork can be selected in the shop, along with options such as colour, size, format and any personalised information required,.
  • After making your selection you can add the product to your shopping basket, then either continue shopping or go to cart to checkout
  • You can buy more than one of the same product or a variety of products. e.g. you can add a ready to buy product and a personalised product in the same transaction.
  • Vat is included in the cost
  • Total cost for each product is displayed after you've selected the options within the product listing
  • Delivery charge for UK is FREE regardless of how many prints you require. Delivery charge to the rest of the world is £4.50 regardless of how many prints you require.
  • At checkout you will be added for postal address even if you are only purchasing digital artwork, this is because the package we use on our website builder doesn't distinguish between a digital or physical product. 
  • For custom and personalised artwork that is not currently shown for sale because it's a new design you would like to be created i.e. a commission, then the price will be quoted to you after we receive your message via our website requesting a commission. If you wish to proceed after receiving our quote, then we will make a custom listing for you within our shop and a copy of the contract will be sent to your email address.
  • When you purchase from our website, you are agreeing to the information in the product description and a contract begins once you have made the purchase.
  • Confirmation of your order will be sent to the email address you submit at checkout. 
  • Confirmation that your order is being processed will also be sent to the email address you submit at checkout
  • Confirmation that your order is despatched will also be sent to the email address you submit at checkout
  • If you wish to have a copy of the product description you should be able to save the page of the listing. If you would like a word document please do let us know at [email protected] and we'll provide it for you. 
  • Payment can be made via debit and credit cards, PayPal or Stripe. Please note if any transactions state the payment is pending then we cannot process your order till payment has cleared.

despatch time, Delivery time and how

Digital file artwork:

  • For ready to by artwork this is sent within 24 hours of the order being received to the email address supplied and cannot be sent to another email address unless you purchase the listing again.
  • For custom and personalised artwork, lead time is stated in the product description and will be despatched within 24 hours of the artwork being approved by yourself.
  • You will be sent an email from our website with confirmation of the order
  • You will be sent an email from our website when the order is being processed
  • You will be sent an email from our website when the order has been despatched. If your order contains artwork that has different lead times then the email to confirm your order has been despatched will only be actioned once all pieces of artwork have been despatched
  • Please check your junk mail before notifying us that your order has not been received

Printed artwork:

  • For ready to buy artwork, despatch time is within 48 hours of the order being received
  • For custom and personalised artwork, lead time is stated in the product description and will be despatched within 48 hours of the artwork being approved by yourself.
  • You will be sent an email from our website with confirmation of the order
  • You will be sent an email from our website when the order is being processed
  • You will be sent an email from our website when the order has been despatched. If your order contains artwork that has different lead times then the email to confirm your order has been despatched will only be actioned once all pieces of artwork have been despatched
  • Please check your junk mail before notifying us that your order has not been received
  • Delivery cost within UK is FREE and we use Royal Mail 1st Class service and a hard backed envelope
  • Delivery cost to the rest of the world is a flat rate of £4.50 no matter how many prints you order and we use Royal Mail International Standard service and a hard backed envelope.
  • Cost can change where cost of postal services increases but this page and the checkout will be updated where necessary.
  • We cannot be held responsible for delayed mail as once posted it is out of our control

Cancellations and rEFUNDS

Printed artwork ONLY:

  • For ready to buy artwork you are able to cancel your order up to 14 days after your order is delivered by filling in the cancellation form below.
  • If the order has been dispatched then as well as filling in the cancellation form below, you will need to return the order in the same condition it was received within 14 days.
  • The buyer is responsible for the cost of returning.
  • A refund will be processed within 14 days of the order being returned to the original payment method
  • For custom and personalised artwork - cancellations and refunds cannot be accepted, unless we haven't started work on your order.

Digital file artwork ONLY:

  • Ready to buy artwork cancellations and refunds are not permitted if the order has already been delivered, unless the files are corrupt. If you fill in the cancellation form before the order is delivered to your email address then we will provide a refund within 14 days of the cancellation form being received
  • Custom and personalised artwork cannot be cancelled and refunded unless we haven't begun work on your order.

Printed and Digital artwork:

  • Where you have opted for both a printed and digital, the above bullet points apply.

 

Once you've submitted the cancellation form, you will be directed to a page confirming the form has been successful, so if you don't see this, please email [email protected]

We'll review your cancellation/refund request and will contact you via the email address you supplied on the form with the next steps.
